Micropile and Foundation Drilling

Micropiles are high-performance, high-capacity drilled deep foundation elements typically between 5–12 inches in diameter that can extend to depths of 200 feet and achieve working loads of over 200 tons. Micropiles are comprised of high-strength steel casing, rebar and grout.

Foundation drilling is, in essence, using big machines to put big holes in the ground. Most residential homes have a reinforced, concrete slab foundation poured on top of the ground. … Also known as drilled piers, caissons or bored piles, drilled shafts are constructed by pouring concrete into a drilled hole.

DCP Seismic Anchors

A fully threaded, torque-controlled, wedge anchor is designed for consistent performance in cracked and uncracked concrete. For use in concrete, structural sand lightweight concrete, and concrete over metal deck.

WATER PRESSURE TESTING

Water pressure testing in rock consists of pressurized injection of water into boreholes drilled into the rock mass and recording the measured water flow rate under the applied pressure(s). The borehole is discretized into intervals, or stages, which are isolated through the use of single or double packers.

IBO hollow bar injection drilling

IBO® hollow bars are installed using the injection bored method, which involves pumping at pressure a cementitious grout while the CTS®/IBO® hollow bar is drilled into the grout. This method has many geotechnical benefits and it improves a project’s overall efficiency.

Excavator mount drill rigs

Excavator-mounted rock drilling attachments are designed to be used in various job sites such as drilling and blasting, quarrying & Mining, rock bolting, rock and concrete demolition, construction works, etc.

Rock/Soil stabilization

There are many methods that can be used to stabilize a rock/soil slope. These include altering the slope geometry, installing drainage, adding reinforcement, or using combinations of these methods.

Vibrating Wire Piezometers

A vibrating wire piezometer is used to measure pore water pressure in the soil, earth/rock-fill foundations and concrete structures. … It is also used to determine the flow pattern of water in earth/rockfill &
concrete dams and the load-bearing capacity of soil or rock.

Dewatering wells

When engineered solutions are required for excavations that extend beyond the groundwater table and reliable
site dewatering systems are required.

Soil, Rock & Tieback Anchors

Soil Anchors For Soil Stabilization. A ground anchor generally consists of a steel tendon
(bar or strands) that is grouted into a pre-drilled hole in rock or soil. After the grout cures, the tendon is pulled into tension against a plate or block and is locked in place to resist the movement of a retaining structure.
ROCK ANCHORS
Rock anchors are used in civil and mining structures to counteract uplift forces acting on
foundations and post-tension existing concrete structures.
TIEBACK ANCHORS
Tiebacks are small diameter grouted anchors, typically installed at 15-45 degrees from horizontal and used to hold back soldier piles, walls or other structures. Ground anchors
are very similar, and are often installed vertically to provide uplift capacity for structures,
particularly below the water table.

Pressure Grouting

Cement Grouting is the injection under pressure of cement or grout to fill voids or fractures in the soil, rock unit or concrete structure. Cement Grouting is a process by which cement is injected under pressure to fill fractures and voids in concrete structures.

Anchor tension testing

To test the anchors or to perform an anchor pull test, the bolt is pulled with a hydraulic
manifold and the displacement of the head of the bolt is measured concurrently.

Limited | Extreme Access Drilling

All services requiring special drilling procedures are planned and executed with carefully planned precision and safety protocols, In other words,, we do jobs other companies can’t.

Slope Inclinometers

A slope inclinometer (SI) is a device for monitoring subsurface movement. Slope inclinometers are often
used to monitor the performance of slopes and embankments.
